Dear Users: NERSC will host a one-day Cori Knight's Landing (KNL) hack-a-thon on September 27 at the CRT building on Berkeley Lab campus. The majority of the day will be spent in hands-on sessions with real-time support from NERSC staff for building, evaluating, and optimizing applications and workflows on the Cori KNL partition. Users are encouraged to bring an application and input deck of their own to work on. The event is open to all NERSC users and is timed before the ERCAP deadline in order to help teams prepare their submissions. Registration is required. Users can participate in person or remotely (bearing in mind that the experience will be different and possibly somewhat limited as a remote participant). For more information and to register, please see https://www.nersc.gov/users/training/events/cori-knl-hands-on-hack-a-thon .
