Homework 2 Results

In general, the effort on the part of students for homework 2 was, for the most part, quite visible in their reports. Several extensions and optimizations were attempted on various platforms and in various languages. Some useful tools were exploited and some interesting results / phenomena were uncovered. Some students tried various performance models to characterize their code. Some students illustrated well their results and their algorithms. Many groups exceeded expectations for several of the aspects of the assignment. Good work.
